Ramon Canal-Oliveras holds a PhD in Political Science from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). He has been a public manager and adviser to the City Council of Manresa and research coordinator at the Institute of Government and Public Policies. He has also worked as a policy consultant and as an associate professor at UAB. His areas of teaching and research are public policies and public management. Since 2016 he has been working for Barcelona City Council, currently in charge of locating and promoting the 2030 Agenda (SDGs) in the city.
